MyCiTi Bus offers regular connections to Cape Town Airport every 20 minutes, but there needs to be direct rail access. The South Africa Passenger Rail Agency plans to include a 2.5-mile rail link between the airport and Cape Town's suburban rail network. However, this may be completed in 2011 due to the focus on the Gautrain project. In the meantime, Metrorail services are available for travel within the city.
